The FBA Diversity Committee, together with Minnesota Women Lawyers and the  Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association, are proud to announce a free CLE event featuring  U.S. District Court Judge Mark Bennett (N.D. Iowa), Magistrate Judge Becky Thorson,  and jury consultant Dr. Samantha Holmes, Ph.D, on the topic of implicit bias in the legal  profession and in legal proceedings. The presentation will provide a thorough overview  of implicit bias, including its psychological underpinnings grounded in stereotyping and  priming, neuroscience, and social science studies, and measuring and examining implicit bias in oneself.
